What kind of coffee roaster suitable for you?
What kind of coffee roaster suitable for you?

Among the factors that affect the taste of a cup of coffee, green beans account for 60%, roasting accounts for 30%, and extraction accounts for 10%.

Good roasting can maximize the personality of green beans and minimize the appearance of defective tastes, so choose A high-quality coffee bean roaster brand is particularly important.

There are roughly three types of coffee roasters on the market:
Direct Fire Roaster
Half Hot Air Roaster
Hot Air Roaster

Here what we recommend is half hot air roaster.
This is currently the most popular and best controlled coffee roasting method. It can make up for the shortcomings of the direct-fire roaster, improve safety, and easily express the aroma and flavor of coffee.

Advantage:
The temperature inside the drum is easy to adjust: the fire of the half hot air roaster is relatively stable, so it is not affected by the external environment. As long as the heat is adjusted, it is very easy to control the fire required for each roasting stage. But after the beans 1st crack, it is different from the direct fire roaster. After the 1st crack, the fire should be concentrated inside the drum. Even if the fire power is weakened, pay attention to not let the temperature drop, so as to provide the raw beans needed for expansion. The energy is sufficient to be prepared. Therefore, pay attention to whether the temperature in the furnace drops after the first crack. If the fire is not enough, you need to larger the fire.
Stable supply of fire to help the green beans expand evenly: The half hot air type is characterized by balanced heating of the internal and external tissues of the green beans and stable fire. As a result, the flavor and aroma of coffee beans are relatively stable. Compared with the beans baked by a direct-fire roaster, the beans produced by the semi-hot air are lighter in color at the same degree of roasting.
