1. Control Panel

Japan top-brand OMRON touchscreen. The TY-2 uses a PLC touch screen panel — just like using a smartphone. The operator can clearly see the ongoing operation, making our roaster very easy to use.

2. Drum Material

TY-2 applies carbon steel drum material (also called cast steel). This material has properties very similar to cast iron, but its production process is simpler. It offers good insulation and lower thermal expansion/contraction coefficients than stainless steel, making it less prone to deformation — the optimal material choice.

3. Heating Elements

For gas heating type: LPG or natural gas options. Professional top-brand atmospheric gas furnace with low emission and higher heating efficiency — gas consumption is very small.

For electric heating type: CE-certified heating tubes (stainless steel), higher efficiency and fast heating. One spare heating tube included.

4. Integrated Structure

Smoke exhaust and cooling systems are highly integrated and connected through hard pipes. The machine nearly needs no installation — start roasting with just a few screws. Very convenient for maintenance and cleaning.

5. Double Roasting Curves Modes

Connect to Artisan via USB. Built-in roasting profile interface on the touch screen — even without Artisan, mark important roasting steps with time and BT temperature (charge → dry end → FC start → FC end → SC start → SC end → drop).

6. Manual or Automatic Control (Optional)

Choose manual control type or automatic control type based on your roasting workflow.
